There are many fish visible in the large pond at a nature center near where I live. Among them swims a huge sturgeon that patrols the area by circling gracefully round and round each morning. It is a great favorite of all who visit the center. Young and old stand on the bridge overlooking this pond, waiting patiently for a glimpse of this impressive fish going about its daily routine. This is the perfect metaphor for the Leo personality. Native American lore describes sturgeon natives as both elite and popular members of the human family. They are dramatic, impressive, and well-loved leaders of society who earn profuse accolades by merely going about their daily business and remaining true to their own strong nature.
