Taurus Season

Taurus, the bull, is sometimes thought to be stubborn and opinionated, but it is really more a matter of their knowing in every fiber of their being exactly what they want and need and an unwillingness to accept anything less. These gentle creatures would not hesitate to travel miles into the country for the ripest, sweetest strawberries, or scale a steep cliff face if they knew that a meadow of the softest most fragrant grass awaited them at the top. And once they got there, they would make sure to lie down in that grass to feel the embrace of Mother Earth herself and gaze skyward into her deep blue eyes. This is because they are ruled by two planets, Venus and Earth. Venus tells them what they love, cherish and value, and Earth gives them the ability to manifest these values in a very material way in their everyday life.

Their mineral is the blue Chrysocolla

Our Taurus friends are endearing souls who are easy to love. Here are some stories full of characters that aptly depict their finely honed esthetic sense and stubborn tenacity:

A very determined bird who lovingly adorns his home with magnificent blue trinkets to entice his ladylove .

Bower Birds

A very down-to-earth turtle who knows a beautiful thing when he sees it and sets out to make her his own:

BAXTER & MONA

And finally, a little hedgehog who knows the value of a cozy home and the simple things and lives life accordingly.
