Introduction
This charming tale adapted from a storybook, written and illustrated by Laura in December, 2000, is a lighthearted peek into the typically hectic day of a busy Charge Nurse. Originally written as an expression of thanks to a group of her own dedicated Charge Nurses, it is presented here as a love-note of appreciation to all of the nurses, doctors, aides, staff and other caregivers who risk their own health, day in and day out during these perilous times, for the wellbeing of others.
