Thirteen gathered in a tree, resting, waiting patiently. What silent signal sets them free as one by one they take their leave.
Majestic wings fully unfurled, they meet again above the world, circling for their spirit food, reaping what no others would.
Heavy though their burden be, it is their meted destiny. In gathering they will survive to feast, to purify, to thrive.
